WANGANUI SHOW
On Thursday last, on the occasion of the Wellingion Racing Club’s meeting, 2YA broadcast the meeting on reJay. On the same day the Wanganti Show was held, and as a number of flealers had stands on the ground, the opportunity was taken to instal speakers and Iet the crowd hear the results: as they came through. ‘This enterprise was much appreciated and sub-. stantial groups thronged the speakers during all races. Station 2YA was informed of the show being on and readily agreed to broadcast choice gramophone items between the traces. ‘Tliese also were much appreciated, particularly by the ladies on the showground,
