French Radio Conference.

At the fourth annual Radio Conference held in Paris it was stated that broadcasting in France is in a most unsatisfactory position, largely on account of the reluctance of the French Post Office to allow private enterprise to undertake the formation of a station, Tuning condensers are more efficient wheu separately controlled, provided the operator knows how to use them, Some of the better sets have the cot1densers mounted so that a single knob turns them all, but with individual con. trols for fine adjustment,
