NEARING 40,000 MARK LATEST RETURNS, ' Yhe final returus for the year 1927 have uot yet Leen completed, but according to "the latest return, for the period ending .December 23, 39,223 licenses lave been issued in the Doimmo. It is possible that the returns up to December 31 will show that 40,000 licenses have been issued. The returns for the individual districts are as follow :-- RECEIVING-STATION LICENSES.
