WLW, the 5000-watt station operated by the Patilist Mathers, has acquired a plot of about one acre on the Belleville Turnpike, Jersey City, U.S.A., as a location for a 5000-watt transmitting station, The Federal Radio Commission has already granted WLWL permission to test with 2000 watts, In the event that no interference results, the station will receive the right to use full power. The new transmitter will be governed by remote control from the stidios at Colwmibus Avenue and Fifty-ninth Street.
