LISTENERS' LEAGUE
', Delegates from various listeners’ vieties throughout the Dominion are scheduled to meet at Wellington on september 20, commencing with a ‘Special session at 11 a.m., when they will be welcomed by the Mayor (Mr. G. A. Troup). Among those who have -beeu invited to speak are thé Prime Minister = (the Right "lon. J. CG. Coates}, the Postuiaster-General (Ion. ‘W. Nosworthy),.the Secretary of the ‘Post aud ‘Telegraplt Department, and tle general inannger of the Radio Broadcasting Company of wew ZeaJasid, Ltd. ~The first sessions, which will be held in-the Dominion Farmers’ Jastiiute, will be open to the public. The establishnient of a New Zealand ‘Listeners’ League, to which all societies will affiliate, will be among the duportant matters to be considered. ‘the Wellington Society will be represented at the conference br its president, Mr. J.
