LATEST FASHIONS
AFTERNOON FOR LADIES AT 3YA For the benefit of the ladies who listen in during the afternoon, 3YA has arranged for a series of talks on fashions. These will commence next Thursday, September 8. Mr. N. Wood, Assistant Manager of the D.I.C., hristchurch, will speak on fashions in frocks and millinery. On September 15, there will be a fashion parade at the D.1,C., accompanied by orchestral music. Mr. Wood will describe the fashions, and his description, along with the music, vil be broadcast. The following Thursday, September 22, Mr. Wood will te!l of fashions in hosiery, lingerie, gloves, neckware and shoes. On October 6, a talk about furnishing the home will be given by Mr. Wood.
