BROADCASTS IN TURKEY

The people of Osmanieh, Turkey, have just had their first taste of radio broadcasting, according to a report to the United States Department of Commerce. A station has just been constructed in Osmanieh, and the people were amazed that a concert could be picked up out of the air with receiving apparatus, ; Sets are being rented to subscribers, and although the public is greatly interested in the project they are still incredulous as to its permanency. A station also is being constfucted | at Angoria, according to the report. The Osmanieh station will work on 1200 metres, and the Angoria station on 1800 metres.
