I te huarahi o te tini o te mano! I te huarahi o te iti o te rahi! Waiho te iwi mana e mae noa! Haere ra e koro, Koutou ko matua, Umihia i te rito o te harakeke, Ka tu i te aro-a-kapa! Aku nui aku rahi, Taku whaka-tama-rahi kite rangi, Waiho te iwi mana e mae noa. He kauwhau ariki. He morehu kaumatua. He minita. He tangata tu marae ; he tangata manaaki ite iti ite rahi.
