A New Hospital Ward for Wellington

A contract based on plans prepared by Messrs. Clere and Williams, architects, has just been Jet to Mr. E. S. Knight, contractor, for the erection of a large ward, Nor .7', at Wellington General Hospital, for the sum of £6,248 17s. This ward will be over and of the same size as Ward 4, one of the original wards erected in 1878-9, and will connect up Ward 6 with the Opthalmic Ward, the addition of which was completed by the same-firm last year.
