FOR SALE O Cl PATENT RIGHTS FOR “Yeandhor” System of Re-inforced Concrete. THE indestructibility of concrete needs no advertisement. It has come to stay, and the wise will build in a permanent material. The “Yeandhor” system of re-inforced concrete construction has many advantages over ordinary re-inforced concrete, the chief being:— 1. 11 YEANDHOR ” walls do not crack or show fissures on the face because the blocks are thoroughly seasoned before being used, and in addition to this every block is well keyed into one another. Every course is re-inforced horizontally, whilst at intervals vertical re-inforcing rods well secured into the foundations are run up and fixed above the wall-plate, thus the whole wall is secured both vertically and horizontally. 2. Owing to the excellent arrangements of the re-inforcements a “ YEANDHOR ” house will stand severe earthquake shocks without cracking or crumbling. 8. The thinnest “ YEANDHOR ” walls are absolutely damp-proof. 4. The “ Yeandhor ” system makes it possible to use materials that were hitherto considered unsuitable for concrete work. 5. “ Yeandhor ” partition walls can be built directly on existing floors and require no expensive foundations. <B> 15 Address enquiries to “ Concrete” c/o.
