Messrs. Stronach, Morris, and Co., Ltd., report for week ending Tuesday, August 21, 1917, as follows: Rabbitskins.—Our next sale will be held on Monday, September 10. Oats. The market of late has had a firming tendency and fair sales have been made during the week. Quotations: Prime milling, 4s to 4s Id good to best feed, 3s 9d to 3s lid per bushel (sacks extra). Wheat.—The market remains as last quoted. Potatoes.—The market remains very dull, and choice freshly-picked lines are only in moderate demand. Inferior lines are unsaleable. Quotations; Best tables, to £4 ; medium, £3 to £3 15s per ton (sacks in). Chaff.—The market is barely supplied at present, and all consignments coming to hand can be readily sold at quotations. Best oaten sheaf. £6 to £6 10s; medium, £4 10s to £5 5s per ton (sacks extra).
