It was stated in a marraige notice which appeared recently in the Tablet, that the bridal veil was presented to the bride by the Nuns of the Sacred Heart, Timaru., This, a correspondent informs us, was not the case, as the Nuns of the Sacred Heart neither make nor present bidal veils., / ' The dairy cow should not be required to drink water that a person would be unwilling to drink himself.
