ST. MARY’S CATHOLIC MEN’S CLUB, HOKITIKA
(From the club correspondent.) July 22. A magnificent response was made to the Rev. Father Clancy’s appeal to the Catholics of Hokitika to sign the two petitions to be presented to the two Houses of Parliament. The Rev. Father Cullen, who celebrated second Mass last Sunday, said the number of signatures (800) constituted a record.
