LECTURE BY BISHOP CLEARY
■ —« , (By telegraph, from our own correspondent.) July 8. Between 700 and 800 persons attended a lecture by his Lordship Bishop Cleary on the Bible-in-Schools question in Thames last night. ' A representative of the Native race presided. Many questions were asked, to which his Lordship replied in his usually clear and logical style. The meeting was very enthusiastic, and his Lordship's remarks were frequently applauded.
