OBITUARY
MR. MICHAEL TYNAN, DUNEDIN. We regret to record the death of Mr. Michael Tynan, who passed away at his residence, Dowling street, Dunedm, on Tuesday afternoon at the age of 81 years. The deceased, who was a native of Ireland, arrived in Australia in the early days of the gold discoveries, and from there came over to Otago, where he engaged in gold digging for some time. Later on he entered into business at Outram, and about twenty years ago came to reside in Dunedin. The late Mr. Tynan was twice married, and'was predeceased by his second wife by about two years. He was an invalid for some time. The funeral takes place this morning from St. Joseph's Cathedral for the Southern Cemetery.— R.I.P. , . :
