(St. Mary’s, Christchurch North), left last week on a round to the South Sea Islands. A week’s retreat for members of both divisions of the arch-confraternity, of the Blessed Sacrament, to be conducted by the Rev. Father Creagh, C.SS.R is to commence in the Cathedral on next Sunday evening. Taking advantage of , the mid-winter vacation Rev. Brother Clement, Principal of the Sacred Heart College, Auckland, passed through Christchurch last week on a brief visit to the various communities of his Order in the South Island. It will be very pleasing to the many friends of the Marist Brothers in the Dominion to ' know that their fine institution in the northern city is experiencing a record year’in point of numbers of students, over ninety boarders being in residence at the college with a splendid spirit of industry and progress
