For the first time in local history, a State Governor of New South Wales assisted at Mass in St. Mary’s r Cathedral as a Catholic on Sunday, March 16, when Sir Gerald Strickland, his daughters, and suite were present at the blessing and distribution of the palms and the High Mass.
