How will you want your hair cut, sir ?' said the talkative hairdresser to the man in the chair. ' Minus conversational prolixity,' replied the patient. ' How's that, sir?' The Hairdresser scratched his head thoughtfully for a second and then went over to the proprietor of the shop with the whispered remark: ' I don't know whether the gentleman m my chair is mad or is a foreigner, but I can t find out what he wants.' The proprietor went to the waiting customer and said politely: ' M man doesn t seem to understand you, sir. How would you like your hair cut?' 'ln silence.'
