The bride's present to the bridegroom was a hand-somely-mounted umbrella, whilst the bridegroom's present to the bride was a gold watch and chain, and to the bridesmaid a gold brooch and cross. After the ceremony the guests repaired to the residence of the bride's parents, ' Filly-burn,' where the wedding breakfast was held. The Rev.
