April 24. w ..A* tne r meeting of Home Rule supporters, held at Waihi last Sunday, after the business had been disposed of the treasurer and secretary of the Hibernian Society made an appeal to all present who were not already members, to become so, either benefit or honorary. Recent happenings had shown the necessity of the Catholics keeping together and being organised, and the Hibernian Society, in addition to its benefits, offered splendid opportunities for spending social evenings together.
