A very popxilar wedding was celebrated in St. Patrick's Church last Monday t>y Very Rev. Dean Carew, when Mr. Oscar Egden, a past president of the Hibernian Society and a prominent member of the St. Columba Club, Avas married to" Miss Margaret Hudd, second daughter of Mrs Hudd, of Alexander, street. The happy couple left the same morning for Christclmrch en -route to Sydney and Melbourne, where the honeymoon will be' spent, taking with them the best wishes of a large circle of friends, for * tlieir future happiness.
