Special attention is also paid to the teaching of Physical Science, for which purpose the College possesses a large Laboratory and Demonstration Hall. Vocal Music, Elocution, Drawing, and all other branches of a Liberal Education receive due attention. Physical Culture is attended to by a competent Drill Instructor, who trains the students three times a week in Drill,' Rifle Practice . and Gymnastics. A large and well-equipped Gymnasium is attached to the College The religious and moral training of the pupils is an object of special care, and particular care is bestowed on the teaching of Christian Doctrine. A well-appointed Infirmary attached to the College is under the charge of the Sisters of Compassion; from whom in case of illness all students receive the most tender and devoted care, and who at all times pay particular, attention to the younger and more delicate pupils, who without such care would find the absence of home comforts very trying.
