According to his report, the pupils of the upper classes are making good progress in arithmetic and English, and proved themselves sufficiently responsive in oral answering. The copy-books, exercist'-books, and draw-ing-books of all classes can well bear inspection. T!n» pupils are eager workers, and follow the instructions given them with the utmost care. In the junior department the pupils are able to give a good account of themselves, are eager, responsive, and not ats all shy. The inspector's concluding remark is: 'The utmost attention is paid to the manners of the pupils, and general tone is -very good.'
