The 1908- session of tlie. Oamaru. Catholic Club was brought to a"" close on Friday evening, December 4, with a mock breach of promise case, in which the characters were taken by" club members, assisted by lady friends: Owing to the lateness of the season*; many of- the- members were engaged in outdoor pursuits, and the attendance suffered in consequence, but those who were present thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and the evening passed off very ' successfxilly.
