Sheepskins. — Prices were firm at last week's quotations. Best halfbred, 6d to 6|d ; medium to good, 5Jd to s^d ; inferior, 3d to 4^d ; best fine crossbred, 6d to 6£d ; medium to good, 4.\d to s£d ; inferior, 3d to 4d ; merino, sJd to 6d ; medium to good, 4.H to sd ; lambskins, to 5Ad.
Hides. — Prices were very firm and showing a rise of \d per lb for heavy hides. We quota: Prime stout heavy ox hides, 7{d to 7sd ; good heavy, 6d to 6Jd ; medium weight, s^d to 6}d ; extra good, to 7jd ; light weight, 4d to 43d ; inferior and staggy, 2id to 3id; best heavy cow hides, 4£d to sf d ; medium, 4d to 4ld ; light weight, 4d to 4^d ; inferior, 2-Jd to 3^d ; yearlings, -2d to 4d ; calfskins, id to 53d.
Tallow and Fat— There is not much coming forward, and all consignments are readily taken up at quotations.
