AN ANONYMOUS LETTER
A newspaper "editor recently, engaged a new office boy, whose intellect was not of the brightest. One evening - the editor left the office, omitting to post a rather important letter.
Next morning he remembered the letter, but on arriving at his office it was nowhere to be seen. He had a distinct recollection of laying the letter on his desk. He summoned the boy and asked him if he had seen the letter. s • - - ' Yessir, you left it on your desk.' ' Then where is it now?' ' 1 posted it, sir.' ' You posted it ! Why, I had not put the name and address on the envelope.' ' Just so, sir. I thought it was one of those anonymous letters.'
