WELLINGTON

The usual monthly meeting of the Men's branch of the Sacred Heart Association (Te Aro parish) was held in St. Joseph's Church, when there was a large number of members present. Rev. Father S. Mahony, S.M., delivered an excellent discourse on the virtue of purity. Before Benediction five new memlbers were enrolled in the As&ociattion by the spiritual director, Rev. Father Yenning. The heads of the 'guilds of both branches of the Association are working hard to make the social gathering in aid of -the schools of the parish, to be held on August 5, a great success.
