The Young Men's Club has accepted a cballengie fjrom the Palmerston North Catholic jClub to a debate, which, will ta\e place in the latter town on 'June 3. The question for t,he debate will be, 'Is conscription desirable for the British Empire ? ' The local Club' has decided to take the affirmative |sidlj. The number of debaters on e a ch side will be three.
