A DREAM
An old Irish gardener, meeting his employer, said :—: — • Good morning, yer honor ! I had a fine dream of ye last night.' J 'Indeed, Michael!" remarked the employer. 'What was the dream ? ' ' I dreamed that ye gave me a fine box o' tabaccy, an' that her ladyship, yer wife, gave my wife a can o' the best tea.' { Ah, Michael, but you know dreams always go by contraries.' ' Then,' said Michael, ' may be yell be after givih' me wife th' tobaccy an' her ladyship'll give me th 1 tea.'
