Students are prepared for the N.Z. University Junior and Senior Civil Service, Medical Entrance, Solicitors' General Knowledge, Bank and all other Public Examinations. Students not preparing for the learned Professions have the advantage of a Special Commercial Course; under efficient management, where they are taught all that will be of use in mercantile pursuits. Special attention is also, paid to the teaohing of Physical Soienoe, for whioh purpose the Colege possesses a large Laboratory and Demonstration Hall. Vocal Musio, Elocution, Drawing, and all other branches of a Liberal Education receive dne attention. Physical culture iB attended to by a competent Drill Instructor who trainß the studentß three times a week in Drill, Rifle Praotioe, and Gymnastics. A large and well-equipped Gymnasium is attached to the College. The religious and moral training of the pupils is an object of special oare, and particular attention is bestowed on the teaohing of Christian Doctrine. A well-appointed Infirmary attached to the College is under the charge of the Sisters of Compassion, from whom in case of ill. new all students receive the moßt tender and devoted care, and who at all times pay particular attention to the younger and more Jelioate pupils, who without Buoh care would find the absence of home comforts very trying.
