(From an occasional correspondent.) Qn Rosary Sunday, 'a mission was opened in the ( atholic Church, Pleasant Point, by the -Rev. Father McDermott, C.S.S.R. when there was a very large congregation. The Masses and evening devotions during the weeV, were well attended. Unfortunately, during,, the "early" part of the week there was no moonlight, and this circum- . stance prevented, many from outlying parts of the parish—some of whom had from -twelve to sixteen miles "to drive over difficult roads— from attending the evening •devotions. The mission was brought to a~ close last Sunday evening. The church was crowded, many being obliged to stand. Fa-t.her McDermott announced .that, during the,week ? over 350 persons approached the Holy Table. After the sermon, he imparted the' Papal blessing, and the ceremonies closed with Benediction of 'the* Blessed Sacrament. - . . . ... _-- '
