Hides.— We held oar fortnightly sale last Thursday, when we submitted a large qatatoiue. We regret to report, however, that owing to a fall in Australia, there was a decided drop here, prices all round showing a decline of fd to id per Jb. Tallow and Fat.— The demand continues \ery keen, and all coming forward is readily- sold at the following quotations : Best rendered- tallow, 22s 6d to 26s per' cwt ; njadium to good do, 18s to 22s ; inferior do, 15s to l?s 6d ; prime caul fat, 17s 6d to 12s ( rough fat, 12s Cd to 17s.
