(From, an occasional oorrespondetat.) ! . - . ' Aprii 8. , • The Hibernian Society's first annual social took, place in the 1 own Hall on Friday night-. last, and was a very great success. The supper, which was supplied by- the ladies, was excellent, and was presided * over by 'Mesdames. Mourie, Bolger, -Me Vicar, J. Mourie, and Leydon Misses Mourie (2). The committee of ladies worked very •hard' and deserve every credit for their effort. - Instrumental items were played by Misses -Carroll, T. O'Dofinell, Knowles, and Duncan. Two - songs- given by Miss M. Ijhnberg (Stratford) were encored. Sas Irisl in*' by Mr Duncan was very much appreciated. Mr. J Hunt tKEEFt?
