DUNEDIN HORSE SALEYARDS. Messrs. Wright;- Stephenson, and Co., report as follows :—: — There was a fairly gooa entry of horses for our sale ' last Saturday, and included in, . the number were a few good useful sorts. The attendance from bath town and country .was all that could be desired, and as there were several buyers in^ffie-Y-yard'on the lookout for horses, a' good sale resulted. -Our principal transactions last week include the following :— Bay gelding, six years old, at £47 10s;' bay < geidang, four years, at £44* 10s ; bay gelding, four, years, at £42 10® ; bay mare, seven years, at £40 ; bay gelding,, five years, 'at £37 10s; bay mare (small), six years, at £32 lbs ; spring-cart filly, three, /-years, at £32 ; bay ccib, eight years, at £20 ; and several others at up to £13. We quote : Superior young draught geldings at from £45 to £52 ; extra good do .(prize-tak- - ers), £56 to £60 ; superior young draught mares, £55 to £65 ; medium draught mares and geldings, £30 to £40> ; ae;cd do, £i 3to £25 ; well-matched carriage pairs, £75 to £100 ; strong spring-van horses £25' to £30 ; milk-cart and butchers' order-cart horses, "£lfi to £25 ; light hacks, £10 to £15/, extra good hacks and harness horses, £20 .' to £25 ; weedy and aged do, £5 to £8.
