Father Treacy on, Sunday read the re-" suit of his house-to-house collection* for - the' 'purpose of - liquidating tire debt on the eburch and ' property, tie stated that during the six years that, .he 'has been in charge he lias collected „ over £2UUU, and .has never held, a bazaar. 'I he reason of the delay was owing- to the collector starting late with his - work, and, in ' consequence of the Sisters going 'into retreat a bit ..earlier this year, and again, the Rev. Mother w,as desirous that our prizes should consist of good Catholic books. N The'sum of £9 was .collected, ' and the result has ' fo.een obtained of^ having a further supply of good r oatholid literature circulated in many homes. The educational result of our school for last year was exceptional, — not a failure out of 140 children. A " girl of 12 years took Jtiighest honors.
