She. also wore a valuable gold muff chain, the- gift ,cf the bridegroom.-;. The " bridesmaids, Misses Kate "and Queenie Burns '(bisters ol the bride),, wore cream serge dresses, / witli ~ white picture hats. .The . bridegroom was attended - by-'Mrl J. T. Hamann, as best man, and Mr. "J. Woods as groomsman. After the wedding breakfast at the residence of the bride's , parents, the guests were .driven to Waitati, frouv - whence the happy couple— left • for Chris tohurch and. - Wellington. The presents, to Mr. and Mrs. Woods were numerous and costly, and the newly-wedded couple look with them, to their future home, in Invercargill, the best wishes of their many friends in Dunedin * and - elsewhere. - ' - '
