The Holy Name of Jesus. St. Paul tells us that Our Lord ' humbled Himself, becoming obedient unto death, even the death of ithe CrOiSS 1 . The object of the Church in instituting the r feast which we celebrate to-day was to bring - before her children the sacredness of the name of Jesus, and to make atonement for the sins of uiose who use it irreverently.
