Father Ahern (Darfield), performed the ceiemony and also celebrated a Nuptial Mass As the ~ wedding party left' the sacred edince Mendelssohn's 'Wedding Match ' was played by Miss Guiney. After the ceremony the paity adjourned to the lesidence of the bude's father, wheie the breakfast was laid m a large maiquee The customa-iy toasts were proposed and clurjr honoied Later on in the afternoon Mi and Mrs' McEvedy left for Chmtchurch en route for Rotoxua and*. Auckland The gift of the bnde""lo the bridegroom was a set of gold sleeve links, and of the bridegroom to the bade a gold lock biacelet, and to?the biidesmaids gold" ciosses and chains.
