""The College Championship was worn by C. H Seymoui, with 17 points, N. Geaney being second with 14 points SeymouL- showed' consistently foim tluoughout the day and his win was a" popular one. The "_heio ' of the day was undoubtedly A. Cullen (of Westpoit), a ladi of sixteen, who aftei winning j the 100 yds and 220 yds under *eventeen, won "the open long jump a jump of 19ft 11m (including- 10m - handicap). Subsequently, in attempting to lowei th'e College lecoid, he eoveied the net distance of 20ft 4in, which, though disallowed on account of slightly overstepping the mabc, was a remarkable peifoimance foi one so young.
