*Au ' event in which considerable interest *• was manifested (writes .a correspondent) took - placj^at Ardlussa-, Balfour, on November- 7, -the- occasion- being "the ' marriage .of .Miss Agnes -Shea, second daughter .of- Mr..,.. M. Shea, 'to Mr. James' .Fitzgerald, eldest son •of , Mr. Edwaid Fitzgerald, Willowisank;- Riversd'ale. - The*-' bride, who .was given' away -by her father, looked charming in a trained gown of rich cream merveilleux silk, trimmed 1 vAth silk passamenterie and rucked chiffon. _.-With this was worn a long veil, falling "irony a coi : onet of orange blossom. The bride wore a gold -watch' and chain; -the gift of the bridegroom. She was attended by her sister, Miss Annie Shea, and Miss'M. Fitzgerald; who' were attired in stylish costumes of cream silk voile, and wore greenstone brooches, mounted with gold (the gifts of the bridegroom). The marriage ceremony was performed by the Rev. Father Kcenan. ' Mr." Edward Fitzgerald, jun., and Mr. D. Shea acted "as lest man- and groomsman respectively.
