Miss Marie Narelle
After having completed a four years' triumohal tour through the Kingdom and the United States, Miss Mane Narelle returned a few months ago to her beloved native Australia, where her recentinn was of the most enthusiastic and flattering descrip- " tion. To show how popular this gifted lady is it is only necessary to mention that her first season in Sydney after her return had to be extended from fou? to seven nights, such was its success. Narelle will be assisted in _ her New Zealand" tour by Mr. Chester Fentress, an American tenor of exceptional ability, and Miss Brandon-Usher, a talented young pianist. The company's New Zealand season opens in Auckland on November 1. The company will appear in Ohristchurch during carnival • week, and will be in Dunedin early in- December.
