Alfonso's Bride
Last week's cables announce the engagement, of the young King of Spain to the Princess Ena— or (to give her name in its full processional length) Victoria Eugenic Julia Ena— of Battenberg. The young Princess is a granddaughter of the lale Queen Victoria and a niece of King Edward VII. She is to return to the Ancient Faith. It seems that the marriage was arranged during Alfonso's visit to England. We are waiting to see what will happen to King 'Edward on the twelfth of July.
