Arrowroot.
Mix a teaspoonful of arrowroot to a smooth paste with a little cold milk, pour on boiling milk 1 until cup is full, stirring all the time tol prevent it becoming lumpy, add a pinch ol salt and sugar to taste. If wine is to be added use water instead of milk.
