CT. COLLEGE WELLINGTON CONDUCTED BY THE MARIST FATHERS. Under the Distinguished Patronage of His Grace the Archbishop of Wellington. The object of the Marist Fathers in this country, as in their oolleges in Europe and America, is to impart to their pupils a thoroughly Religious and a sound Literary education, whioh will •nable them in after-life to discharge their duties with honour to Religion i»nd Society, and with credt and advantage to themselves. Students are prepared for the N.Z. University Junior and Benior Civil Service, Medical Entrance, Solicitors' General Knowledge, Bank and all other Public Examinations. Students not preparing for the learned Professions have the advantage of a Special Commercial Course, under efficient management, where they are taught all that will be of üb>e in mercantile pursuits. Special attention is also paid to the teaching of Physical Science, for which purpose the Colege possesses a larpre Laboratory and Demonstration Hall. Vocal Mobic, Elocution, Drawing, and all other branches of a Liberal Education receive dne attention. Physioal culture is attended to by a competent Drill Instructor who trains the students three times a week in Drill, Rifle Practice, and Gymnastics. A large and well -equipped Gymnasium ib attache i to the College. The religious and moral training of the pupils is an object of special care, and particular attention is bestowed on the teaching of Christian Doctrine. A well-appointed Infirmary attached to the College is under the charge of the Sisters of Compassion, from whom in case of illness all students receive the most tender and devoted care, and wbo at all times pay particular attention to the younger and more Jelioate pupils, who without suoh care would find the absence of home comforts very trying. Students are prepared for UNIVERSITY JUNIOR SCHOLARSHIP, MATRICULATION, SENIOR AND JUNIOR CIVIL SERVICE, MEDICAL ENTRANCE, and SOLICITORS 1 and BARRISTERS' GENERAL KNOWLEDGE EXAMINATIONS.
