The latest news to hand regarding the Very Rev. D^am Foley is very satisfactory. Complete arrangements have been made for the carrying out of the Band Contest here on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. The art union, which is being managed by th© presbytery committee m the interests of the completion of thq building, is now well under way. On Saturday morning a Solemn Requiem Mass was sung for the repose of her soul, the celebrant being the Rev. (Fiajiyheir Tubman (Timaru), assisted by Rev. Father Kerley (Temuka) and Rev Father Rognault (Waimate). In the aftwinirxm the funeral left Vhe church for the cemetery, followed by a large concourse of mourners, who came, to pay their last tribute of respect to the departed Sister.
