The following is a statement of receipts and expenditure of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Auckland, from July 1, 1904, to July 4, 1905 :—

Number of orders given out—Groceries and firing, 38.3 ; board and lodging, 81 •; meat, 75 ; milk, 42 ; relief, fil. Clotlhing distributed—New articles, 65 ; readymade, 401 ; new material, 40yds.
