Wheat. — T.here is no marked appreciable change to ieport. We ■qjuotc : Milling wheat, 3s Id to 3s 2d ; good fowl wheat, 2s lOd to 2s 1 1 -^d per bushel (sacks'evtra) Oats. — Since our last report theie has been strong inquiry for all grades of oats, both locally and for shippine;, arid v.i lues in consequence are \ery firm We quote —Prime milling, Is lOJtl to'ls lld , good to best feed, Is 9£<l to ls'lOd per bushel (sacks e\lm) Chaff. — The o<nly call is for prime oaten «heaf, m4erior 'and medium beimg difficult to quit. We quote Prime hea'\y oaten, from £3 5s to £3 IDs per ton (sacks extra).
Potatoes.— Supplies are coming forward more freely, and with a marked falling off in local sales the market is slightly weaker. We quote : Prime Derwents, from £10 15s to £11 ; white sorts, up to £10 10s per ton (sac!\S in). E^s.— Our knday's supply we placed at 9£d per dozen. Butter.— Market decidedly firmer. Dairy prints, 9Jd to 10d ; prime milled, 9^d to 10 £ d ; separator in half and one-poxind pats, 10£ dto ll^d per ft. Pigs.— Prime baconers ot suitable weights, up to 3£d rer \h ; porkers, 3*d per ft. Poultry.— ln splendid demand. Hens, 2s 9d to 3s 9d ; roosters, 3s Cvi to 4s 9d ; ducks, 3s fid to 4s 6d per pair ; turkeys, hens, 5d to (id ; gobblers, 121t> and over, 8d ; light weights, 7d per ft.
