Later on he farmed areas to other parts of district. About eight year* *£ Mr. "Deegan with a grown-up family of five sons and two daughters, migrated to Dipton. Until the last few years, when he suffered greatly from rheumatism, Mr. Deegan enjoyed excellent health, the immediate cause of death was a heart affection, from which he had been suffering for some time. The deceased was a practical Catholic, and one of the most generous and charitable men In the district.
