Sales of milling lines are confined chiefly to a few choice samples* There is practically nd inferior wheat offering, and orders for Cowl wheat are being supplied with lower grades of milling quality : We quote : Prime milling; 3s Id to 3s 2d ; good, do, 3s; whole fowl wheat, 2s lOd to 2s ll|d ; broi.en and damaged, 2s ted to 2s 9d per bushel (sacks extra). Barley.— Local stocks are not heavy, but at this season malsters' requirements are small, and lines on offer move off slowly at late values. Milling and feed lines are inquired for, hut at, reduced prices. We quote : Cfeoice malting, 8s 9d to 4s ; prime do, 8s 3d, to 3s 6d ; medium to gobd, 2s 8d to Ss 3d 5 milling, 2s 4d to 2s 74. Potatoes.— Despite I,he arrival of fait qjbaatlties during the past week, values ate stilt maintatoed, and all sorts in good' condition are sure of satisfactory sale oq arrival. Wei quote : Bes't-cxfeid'tftfoned sorts, £10 15s to £11 ; medium to gooti, £10 to £10 10s per ton (sacks in). Chaff.— There is some inquiry for shipment, but mostly at ptices that do hot tempt local holders. Locally there is gckyd demand fdr prime to choice samples, but lower grades are not in favor. Ye quote" : Choice lines, £3 7s 6d to £3 10s ; prime oaten sheaf, '£3 2s 6d to £3 7s 6d ; medium to good, £2 15s fo £3 ; light and discolored, £2 5s to £3 10s per ton (bags extra). Straw.— Oatjen straw is scarce, and in fair demand, at 39s ; wbeaten, 30s per ton (pressed). Turnips.— We quote : Besdt swedes, Us per ton (loose, ex truck). Hay.— The market is fully su>p/ptyeid, and best quality moves off slowly at £2 15s to £3 ; medium, £2 5s to £2 10s per ton.
