Wheat.— Very little "business is passing, and valuesare unchangted. We quote : Prime milling, 3s to 3s Id' best whole fowl wheat, 2s 8d to 2s 9 id per buslfel (sacks extra). " v-«
Oats.— ln this market there is no appreciable change to report. We quote ■ Prime mining, Is 8p to Is 9,d '; best feed, Is 7^d to Is 8d per bushel (sacks extra).
Chaff,— AMl consignments of prime oaten sheaf are in firm request. We quote . Prime well-cut oaten sheaf, from £3 to £3 5s ; extra heavy and bright, up to £3 7 s 6d per ton (sacks extra). Potatoes.— Supplier are coming forward slowly, and any lines of good conditioned Derwents offering are readily sold at from £7 to £7 10s per ton. (sacks in).
Bhitter.-Jnsh'ort suipply. We q.uote : Dairy prints 8d ; prime milled, 8d to 9d ; separator in 4- and lft pats, 9d to 9| per ft. Eggs.— In good demand at Is Id per dozen. Pigs.— Prime baconers of suitable weights are in good demand at 4d ; porkers, 3|d to 4d per Ib. Poultry.— lmproving demand. We q,uotc : Hens, 2s) 6d to 3s 6d ; roosters, 3s to 4s ; ducks, 3s to 4s ncr pair ; turkeys : hens, 5d to 6d ; cocks, 7id to 8d per ft (live weight).
Note.— We receive consignments of produce for sale on commission, which has our best attention at all times.
